Simply Alive

I feel my mind at peace

occasionally obsessive

but only to pass the time

I feel thick soft grass between my toes

A mildly hot breeze

partly cloudy

partly humid

A beautiful day in my mind

There's a paradox with

all that I am

confused but unconcerned

bewildered yet without panic

physically limited

yet free willed

I'm in love

with the complexity of life

My consciousness

curled and happy

my being

simply alive
